FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CONTACT: 2008 Allstate Sugar Bowl MVP Brian Johnson to Visit Utah Play N Trade West Valley City, Utah., July 10, 2009—Brian Johnson, star and MVP of the 2008 Allstate Sugar Bowl, will appear at Play N Trade in West Valley City, Utah on July 14, 2009 from 4-6 p.m. to greet fans, sign autographs, and play NCAA Football 10. Much of America was shocked last year when Johnson’s University of Utah team crushed the Alabama Crimson Tide 31-17 and became the only undefeated team in college football. Johnson, the game’s MVP, threw for 336 yards and 3 touchdowns in his last collegiate game. Due to his stunning performance, Johnson will be featured on the cover of NCAA Football 10 for PlayStation 3 and will appear at Play N Trade to celebrate the release of the game. Before Johnson arrives at the store, Play N Trade will be hosting a tournament of NCAA Football 10 every hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The winners will be entered in a drawing to go head-to-head against Johnson; the winner of which will play Johnson at 5:45 p.m. Travis Kinnersley, co-owner of the West Valley Play N Trade, said having Johnson in his store is an honor. “It’s awesome to have Brian Johnson here, not only because he’s on the cover of the game but because he’s meant so much to the University of Utah, which we’re so close to,” Kinnersley said. “Play N Trade is so excited because this is the only store in the nation to have him come in.” The event is open to the public and all customers who buy a copy of NCAA Football 10 in-store will get it autographed by Johnson for free.
